QMatrix GmbH sets an example of solidarity during the Christmas season: Generous donations to the Landau Child Protection Association and the Maria Regina Children's Village

Landau, December 20, 2023

QMatrix GmbH, a leading company from Bellheim in the areas of quality, logistics and production, is showing its social responsibility this year's Christmas season with generous donations to two important organizations that are dedicated to the well-being of children. With a donation of 1500 euros each, QMatrix GmbH supports the child protection association "BLAUER ELEFANT" in Landau and the Maria Regina children's village in Silz, Germany.

The donation to the Child Protection Association will benefit a social organization that is committed to the protection and well-being of children and young people in the region. The Child Protection Association does valuable work through a variety of programs to support children in difficult life situations and to protect their rights. To mark the anniversary of "40 years of the children's and youth hotline at the Landau location", QMatrix GmbH is supporting this very important offer of help from the Landau-SÜW e.V. child protection association for young people.

"On the anonymous and free number 116111, our trained volunteers help children and young people from all over Germany with their concerns. These can be problems at school, arguments in the family or among friends, heartache or even suicidal thoughts or experiences of abuse. Our lines are daily during the week and on Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.," says Sina Ludwig, from the Child Protection Association. Since 1983, there have been reliable teams of telephone counsellors for this activity who provide young people with help to help themselves. Since then, new groups of counsellors have been trained every autumn at the BLAUER ELEFANT children's home in Landau for a total of 80 hours. The counsellors learn conversation techniques and receive information on topics such as social media, bullying or development-specific phases of life such as puberty. "The number against grief” offers a kind of first aid to children and young people who are struggling. Volunteers are on the phone when support is urgently needed. Together we then look for solutions or, if requested, provide the contact details of local advice centers for further help.

The second donation of 1,500 euros goes to the Maria Regina Children's Village, which has been committed to helping children in difficult life situations for many years. The children's village in Silz offers a loving home for 90 children and young people from infancy to independence. Around 85 employees provide support for children who, for various reasons, cannot grow up with their biological parents.

“We are very pleased about the donation from QMatrix GmbH,” says Janosch Armbrust from the Children’s Village. “With this money we can equip a residential group with new, high-quality toys for our children. Mr. Lisci has a great eye for the things we really need. Thank you for your great support, also this year!”

The management of QMatrix GmbH emphasizes the importance of social commitment. "We are aware that not all children have the same opportunities in life. With these donations we would like to help ensure that children who grow up in difficult circumstances receive the support they need," explains Stefano Lisci, Managing Director the QMatrix. The Christmas season is traditionally all about charity and solidarity, and QMatrix GmbH encourages other companies and private individuals to do good during this festive season.

The international company has been involved in Christmas donations for children for several years. Projects such as the children's and youth telephone, the digitization of the child protection association or the purchase of a cargo bike or fishing equipment for the children's and youth village have already been supported.
