QMatrix Christmas Event 2019
Day 1
As all employees are working in projects throughout Europe, Thursday was scheduled for travelling. Unfortunately, some colleagues were not able to attend the team event, due to their assignment in task force projects or long distance travelling. We started our team event with a meet and greet at the Heilbronner Christmas market with some Glühwein. After that we enjoyed a delicious Italian dinner at Trattoria da Umberto in Heilbronn where we had the opportunity to catch up on past and upcoming projects and customers. We finished the first day of our team event with a nightcap at the hotel bar and our “Nikolaus” picture.
Day 2
The next day after breakfast, we left the hotel in direction to Audi Forum in Neckarsulm. We had booked a two hours tour to visit the production plant. In the plant Neckarsulm, 17,000 employees are currently working, producing 1.000 Audis per day.
Even for us from the quality management industry, it was very exciting to see a state-of-the-art production plant running. We could visit the car body construction, which is almost completely automated and the final assembly of the cars. Following the factory tour, there was a guided tour of the Audi Forum where the history of Audi was explained and the latest Audi models were presented, e.g. the Audi RS Q8.
We all enjoyed the two days of our team event. Many thanks to all employees for their commitment and support in the last year!
