In 2019 we could enjoy our company event with magnificent weather, best mood and great activities.
Day 1
After a strengthened breakfast we started our first challenge – Geo Chaching - at Neustadt an der Weinstraße. In 2 Teams, everyone equipped with GPS devices, targets („treasures“) must be located in Palatinate Forest. The "treasures" were crazy and hilarious questions, which encouraged us to solve them together as a team and collect points diligently. On this point I would like to take this opportunity to thank Simon (our Guide) for the brilliant mentoring. Lucky us, we found our way back to civilization to close the day in Edenkoben at the Hotel Prinz Regent in the middle of the vineyards. To get in the mood for the sociable evening, we made a short tour to Villa Ludwigshöhe nearby to enjoy the magnificent view over the Rhine plain with a glass of "Pfälzer Schorle". Afterwards, we finished the first day together with delightful food and delicious wine in memory of our other colleagues which could not participate due to intercontinental projects or critical project phases.
Day 2
Day 2 claimed strength in our legs. To get the necessary power, we strengthened ourselves with an energetic breakfast in the patio at the Hotel Prinz Regent. In the agenda of the second day was a trolley ride through southern Palatinate. With a 7-seater-draisine, with three "bikes" and a seating group of four, the distance had to be conquered with our muscle power. During the journey we had a lot of fun when e.g. the drivers pedals quickly or change the seats. During a short break we recharged our engines with cold drinks. In this time the excecutive management gave a review of the past projects and provides a forcast in coming inquiries and the further developments of QMatrix GmbH. A praise for the great QMatrix team, the work performance and the team spirit could not be forgotten! Freshly strengthened, we started the rest of our way with a great final sprint back home to Westheim. It was a great, successful team event, characterized by a relaxed and exuberant atmosphere with further deepend team spirit.
